If you don’t know either party very well, don’t
believe that their introduction will be mutually
beneficial, or don’t think that either party is
ready for the introduction, politely decline the
request to make an introduction or ask a few
more questions.

the introduction. If your reason is that you don’t
think they are ready, simply ask them about

Value
Once you’ve explained your reason for writing,
the final part of your email should be short,
quick and to the point. You don’t need to drive
home a hard sales pitch – keep it light.
