This document discusses how doubt is a normal part of faith and should not be seen as a lack of faith or something to be condemned. It outlines three main categories of doubt - intellectual, spiritual, and circumstantial - and provides advice for dealing with doubt, including admitting doubts to God, recognizing faith as a choice, borrowing faith from others, acting on faith despite doubts, doubting doubts rather than faith, understanding some things will remain unanswered, and remembering what is known to be true. The overall message is that doubt itself is not a problem as long as one continues to choose to have faith in God.
This document is a magazine from Activated Ministries that includes several articles discussing faith-related topics. The first article encourages readers to have faith in God's love, even during difficult times, by likening faith to relaxing and letting God support you like a swimmer floating. The second article discusses having faith that God is in control and will answer prayers in His timing, not ours, using the example of a squirrel empowering its observer to have faith. The third article continues discussing having faith now and forever through trusting God even when prayers seem unanswered.

Tommy Barnett arrived in Davenport, Iowa feeling discouraged after no churches accepted his offer to be their pastor, despite his successful experience as an evangelist. The church in Davenport was in poor condition, with a small, run-down building and only 76 attendees. Barnett planned to give a negative sermon to discourage the church from hiring him, hoping God would open a better door. However, God had other plans that would reveal a miracle within the struggling church.
The document is an editorial introduction from a publication called Activated. It begins with a story about a wealthy man who cherished a portrait of his deceased son above all his other artwork. When the man died, an auction was held for his art collection. The auctioneer refused to sell any paintings until someone bid on the portrait of the son. Finally, the family gardener bid $10 and won, only to discover he had just inherited the entire estate, as stipulated in the man's will. The editorial uses this story as an analogy for how God offers us everything through his son Jesus. It encourages remembering Jesus this Easter.
This document discusses the concept of faith from perspectives shared by religious leaders and thinkers. It explores how faith can be understood as believing in things unseen or partially seen. The document suggests faith requires focusing on what is known to be true despite uncertainties and distractions. Quotes are provided that emphasize having faith through trials without full knowledge or understanding, and trusting in God's guidance even when walking in darkness.

We are living in the days where great faith is needed to survive in this world. I often cringe when I look at the news. What do we have to look forward to? Today, we face a volatile economy, with the dow plunging more than 2,300 points on this past Thursday and deemed to be the worst day on Wall Street since 1987 (they are said to have rebounded from the plunge). There is a global crisis, a pandemic, as the coronavirus outbreak continues to spread, topping out at 125,000 cases globally. The world is in a sheer panic with consumers buying items such as, toilet paper and hand sanitizer in bulk and major events, schools and entertainments venues shutting down. As for our political climate, well, Trump is our president. I will leave it at that. Violence and Sodomy, as we know, continues to run rampant. Not to mention the natural disasters we face. This list goes on and on.

This document discusses what drives people's lives and identifies the most common things that drive people. It states that everyone's life is driven by something, such as problems, pressures, deadlines, guilt, resentment, anger, fear, materialism, or need for approval. The document argues that people should instead be driven by their purpose, which is about God, not themselves. Knowing one's God-given purpose gives meaning, simplifies, focuses, and motivates life, and prepares one for eternity. Fulfilling one's purpose involves giving God pleasure, being part of God's family, becoming Christ-like, serving others with gifts, and spreading the word.

Are you looking for a long-lasting solution to your missing tooth?
Dental implants are the most common type of method for replacing the missing tooth. Unlike dentures or bridges, implants are surgically placed in the jawbone. In layman’s terms, a dental implant is similar to the natural root of the tooth. It offers a stable foundation for the artificial tooth giving it the look, feel, and function similar to the natural tooth.
The skin is the largest organ and its health plays a vital role among the other sense organs. The skin concerns like acne breakout, psoriasis, or anything similar along the lines, finding a qualified and experienced dermatologist becomes paramount.
Cell Therapy Expansion and Challenges in Autoimmune DiseaseHealth Advances
There is increasing confidence that cell therapies will soon play a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen. Early readouts on autologous CAR-Ts in lupus are encouraging, but manufacturing and cost limitations are likely to restrict access to highly refractory patients. Allogeneic CAR-Ts have the potential to broaden access to earlier lines of treatment due to their inherent cost benefits, however they will need to demonstrate comparable or improved efficacy to established modalities.
In addition to infrastructure and capacity constraints, CAR-Ts face a very different risk-benefit dynamic in autoimmune compared to oncology, highlighting the need for tolerable therapies with low adverse event risk. CAR-NK and Treg-based therapies are also being developed in certain autoimmune disorders and may demonstrate favorable safety profiles. Several novel non-cell therapies such as bispecific antibodies, nanobodies, and RNAi drugs, may also offer future alternative competitive solutions with variable value propositions.
Widespread adoption of cell therapies will not only require strong efficacy and safety data, but also adapted pricing and access strategies. At oncology-based price points, CAR-Ts are unlikely to achieve broad market access in autoimmune disorders, with eligible patient populations that are potentially orders of magnitude greater than the number of currently addressable cancer patients. Developers have made strides towards reducing cell therapy COGS while improving manufacturing efficiency, but payors will inevitably restrict access until more sustainable pricing is achieved.
Despite these headwinds, industry leaders and investors remain confident that cell therapies are poised to address significant unmet need in patients suffering from autoimmune disorders. However, the extent of this impact on the treatment landscape remains to be seen, as the industry rapidly approaches an inflection point.

Breast cancer: Post menopausal endocrine therapyDr. Sumit KUMAR
Breast cancer in postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive (HR+) status is a common and complex condition that necessitates a multifaceted approach to management. HR+ breast cancer means that the cancer cells grow in response to hormones such as estrogen and progesterone. This subtype is prevalent among postmenopausal women and typically exhibits a more indolent course compared to other forms of breast cancer, which allows for a variety of treatment options.
Diagnosis and Staging
The diagnosis of HR+ breast cancer begins with clinical evaluation, imaging, and biopsy. Imaging modalities such as mammography, ultrasound, and MRI help in assessing the extent of the disease. Histopathological examination and immunohistochemical staining of the biopsy sample confirm the diagnosis and hormone receptor status by identifying the presence of estrogen receptors (ER) and progesterone receptors (PR) on the tumor cells.
Staging involves determining the size of the tumor (T), the involvement of regional lymph nodes (N), and the presence of distant metastasis (M). The American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging system is commonly used. Accurate staging is critical as it guides treatment decisions.
Treatment Options
Endocrine Therapy
Endocrine therapy is the cornerstone of treatment for HR+ breast cancer in postmenopausal women. The primary goal is to reduce the levels of estrogen or block its effects on cancer cells. Commonly used agents include:
Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators (SERMs): Tamoxifen is a SERM that binds to estrogen receptors, blocking estrogen from stimulating breast cancer cells. It is effective but may have side effects such as increased risk of endometrial cancer and thromboembolic events.
Aromatase Inhibitors (AIs): These drugs, including anastrozole, letrozole, and exemestane, lower estrogen levels by inhibiting the aromatase enzyme, which converts androgens to estrogen in peripheral tissues. AIs are generally preferred in postmenopausal women due to their efficacy and safety profile compared to tamoxifen.
Selective Estrogen Receptor Downregulators (SERDs): Fulvestrant is a SERD that degrades estrogen receptors and is used in cases where resistance to other endocrine therapies develops.
Combination Therapies
Combining endocrine therapy with other treatments enhances efficacy. Examples include:
Endocrine Therapy with CDK4/6 Inhibitors: Palbociclib, ribociclib, and abemaciclib are CDK4/6 inhibitors that, when combined with endocrine therapy, significantly improve progression-free survival in advanced HR+ breast cancer.
Endocrine Therapy with mTOR Inhibitors: Everolimus, an mTOR inhibitor, can be added to endocrine therapy for patients who have developed resistance to aromatase inhibitors.
Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is generally reserved for patients with high-risk features, such as large tumor size, high-grade histology, or extensive lymph node involvement. Regimens often include anthracyclines and taxanes.

5. Yes, I do have doubts. I don’t talk about
them very much, but I doubt every day. I
have doubts and questions that come to my
mind every single day. I don’t know how a
person could be a Christian and not have
doubts from time to time. Faith requires
doubt in order to be faith.
RESPONSE OF PASTOR
JHON
6. THIS IS ONE OF THE HIDDEN SECRETS
OF THE CHURCH. WE ALL DOUBT
FROM TIME TO TIME. DOUBT ITSELF
IS NOT SINFUL OR WRONG. IT OFTEN
CAN BE THE CATALYST TO NEW
SPIRITUAL GROWTH.
7. I HAVE CONCLUDED THAT OUR DOUBTS TEND TO
FALL INTO THREE CATEGORIES:
FIRST, THERE ARE INTELLECTUAL DOUBTS.
THESE ARE DOUBTS MOST OFTEN RAISED BY THOSE
OUTSIDE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH.
IS THE BIBLE THE WORD OF GOD?
IS JESUS THE SON OF GOD?
DID HE REALLY RISE FROM THE DEAD?
8. SECOND, THERE ARE SPIRITUAL DOUBTS.
THESE TEND TO BE THE DOUBTS OF THOSE
INSIDE THE CHURCH.
AM I REALLY A CHRISTIAN?
HAVE I TRULY BELIEVED?
WHY IS IT SO HARD TO PRAY?
WHY DO I STILL FEEL GUILTY?
9. Third, there are circumstantial doubts.
This is the largest category because it
encompasses all the “whys” of life.
Why did my child die?
Why did my marriage break up?
Why can’t I find a husband?
Why did my friend betray me?
Where was God when my uncle was abusing
me? These questions touch the intersection
of biblical faith and the pain of a fallen
10. AS WE APPROACH THIS TOPIC, THERE ARE
SEVERAL THINGS WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND
UP FRONT:
•1) MANY PEOPLE THINK DOUBT IS THE
OPPOSITE OF FAITH, BUT IT ISN’T. UNBELIEF
IS THE OPPOSITE OF FAITH. UNBELIEF REFERS
TO A WILLFUL REFUSAL TO BELIEVE, WHILE
DOUBT REFERS TO INNER UNCERTAINTY.
11. 2) MANY PEOPLE THINK DOUBT IS
UNFORGIVABLE, BUT IT ISN’T. GOD DOESN’T
CONDEMN US WHEN WE QUESTION HIM.
BOTH JOB AND DAVID REPEATEDLY
QUESTIONED GOD, BUT THEY WERE NOT
CONDEMNED. GOD IS BIG ENOUGH TO
HANDLE ALL OUR DOUBTS AND ALL OUR
QUESTIONS.
12. 3) MANY PEOPLE THINK STRUGGLING WITH
GOD MEANS WE LACK FAITH, BUT THAT’S
NOT TRUE. STRUGGLING WITH GOD IS A SURE
SIGN THAT WE TRULY HAVE FAITH. IF WE
NEVER STRUGGLE, OUR FAITH WILL NEVER
GROW STRONGER.
13. • IT HELPS ME TO THINK OF DOUBT AS A KIND OF
IMMUNIZATION. WHEN YOU RECEIVE A
SMALLPOX VACCINATION, THE DOCTOR
ACTUALLY GIVES YOU A TINY PORTION OF THE
DISEASE. THAT TINY PORTION IS JUST ENOUGH
TO ACTIVATE YOUR ANTIBODIES SO THAT YOU
HAVE THE STRENGTH TO FIGHT OFF THE
DISEASE LATER. IN THE SAME WAY, DOUBTS CAN
ACTUALLY END UP DEVELOPING A MUCH
STRONGER FAITH IF WE FACE OUR DOUBTS
HONESTLY.
14. ADMIT YOUR DOUBTS AND ASK FOR HELP.
GOD IS NOT FRAGILE. HE CAN HANDLE YOUR DOUBTS,
YOUR FEARS, YOUR WORRIES, AND ALL YOUR
UNANSWERED QUESTIONS. HE’S A BIG GOD. HE RUNS
THE UNIVERSE WITHOUT ANY HELP. YOUR DOUBTS
WON’T UPSET HIM. TELL HIM YOUR DOUBTS, CRY OUT
AND ASK FOR HIS HELP. AND DON’T FIGHT THE BATTLE
ALONE. GO TO A CHRISTIAN FRIEND, A PASTOR, AN
ELDER, A DEACON, ANYONE WITH A STRONG FAITH AND
GODLY INSIGHT. ASK THEM TO WALK WITH YOU AS YOU
FACE YOUR DOUBTS HONESTLY.
15. RECOGNIZE THAT FAITH IS A CHOICE, NOT A
FEELING.
SOMETIMES YOU CHOOSE TO BELIEVE BECAUSE
OF WHAT YOU SEE, OFTEN YOU BELIEVE IN
SPITE OF WHAT YOU CAN SEE. AS YOU LOOK TO
THE WORLD AROUND, MANY THINGS REMAIN
MYSTERIOUS AND UNANSWERABLE. BUT IF
THERE IS NO GOD, AND IF HE IS NOT GOOD,
THEN NOTHING AT ALL MAKES SENSE.
16. DON’T BE AFRAID TO “BORROW”
SOME FAITH.
WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF FILLED
WITH DOUBTS, GO FIND SOMEONE
FILLED WITH FAITH AND “BORROW”
SOME OF THEIRS. IT WORKS.
17. ACT ON YOUR FAITH, NOT YOUR
DOUBTS.
• THAT’S WHAT NOAH DID WHEN HE BUILT THE ARK.
THAT’S WHAT ABRAHAM DID WHEN HE LEFT UR OF THE
CHALDEES. THAT’S WHAT ABRAHAM DID WHEN HE
OFFERED ISAAC. THAT’S WHAT MOSES DID WHEN HE
MARCHED THROUGH THE RED SEA ON DRY GROUND.
THAT’S WHAT DAVID DID WHEN HE FACED GOLIATH.
18. DON’T YOU THINK THAT ALL THESE GREAT
HEROES OF THE FAITH HAD THEIR DOUBTS?
OF COURSE, THEY DID. THEY DIDN’T KNOW
IN ADVANCE HOW EVERYTHING WAS GOING
TO COME OUT. BUT THEY TOOK A DEEP
BREATH, DECIDED TO TRUST GOD, AND
THEY ACTED ON THEIR FAITH AND NOT ON
THEIR DOUBTS. DO THE SAME THING AND
YOUR FAITH WILL CONTINUALLY GROW
STRONGER.
19. DOUBT YOUR DOUBTS, NOT YOUR FAITH.
THIS SIMPLY MEANS THAT YOU SHOULD NOT CAST AWAY
YOUR FAITH SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU ARE IN THE DEEP VALLEY
OF DARKNESS. ALL OF US WALK INTO THAT VALLEY FROM
TIME TO TIME. SOME OF US SPEND A GREAT DEAL OF TIME
THERE. BUT WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THAT VALLEY
WHERE ALL IS UNCERTAIN AND YOU ARE SORELY TEMPTED
TO GIVE IN TO YOUR DOUBTS, FEARS AND WORRIES,
REMEMBER THESE TWO WORDS: KEEP WALKING. JUST KEEP
WALKING. NOTHING IS GAINED BY CAMPING OUT IN THE
VALLEY OF DARKNESS. THE ONLY WAY OUT IS TO KEEP ON
20. UNDERSTAND THAT THERE ARE SOME
THINGS YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND THIS
SIDE OF HEAVEN
ALL OF US HAVE QUESTIONS THAT WE SIMPLY CAN’T
ANSWER. OFTEN THOSE QUESTIONS REVOLVE AROUND
THE WHYS OF LIFE. WHY DID THIS HAPPEN? WHY DID IT
HAPPEN TO ME? OR TO MY CHILDREN? OR TO MY WIFE?
OR TO MY HUSBAND? WHY DID IT HAPPEN NOW AND NOT
TEN YEARS FROM NOW? TO ALL THOSE QUESTIONS OF
THE HEART, THE ANSWERS WILL NOT COME UNTIL WE
GET TO HEAVEN. IT IS FAITH-BUILDING TO SAY, “I
UNDERSTAND THAT I WON’T UNDERSTAND RIGHT NOW.”
21. KEEP GOING BACK TO WHAT
YOU KNOW TO BE TRUE
IF DOUBTS ARISES, WE MUST LOOK BACK
TO ALL THE TIMES WHEN WE HAVE
STRONG FAITH, WHEN WE WITNESS THAT
GOD HAS BEEN WITH US, AND THE TIMES
WHEN WE OVERCOME TRIALS THROUGH
GOD WHO HAS BEEN WITH US.

Editor's Notes
Among pangutana nimo, Nagduha-duha pa ba ka?
