3. IEEE is the world's largest technical professional
organization dedicated to advancing technology for the
benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a
global community to innovate for a better tomorrow
through its highly cited publications, conferences,
technology standards, and professional and
educational activities. IEEE is the trusted “voice” for
engineering, computing, and technology information
around the globe.
There are more than 420,000 IEEE members in over
160 countries. IEEE publishes a third of the world’s
technical literature in electrical engineering, computer
science, and electronics and is a leading developer of
international standards that underpin many of today's
telecommunications, information technology, and
power-generation products and services.

8. The IEEE Helwan Student Branch is one of IEEE ( Reigon 8 ) Student branches in
Egypt Section. IEEE Helwan SB was founded in 2010. Since then, the Branch has
been one of the most active branches of IEEE established under Egypt’s Local
Section. and as the 3rd activity established ,IEEE Helwan Student Branch is the 6th
Student Branch in Egypt Section. Known for its annual Academic Program.

13. • I Geek is a global challenge with in more than 5,500
participants allover the world.
• IEEEXtreme 9.0 is a GLOBAL challenge in which teams of IEEE
student members compete in a 24-hour time span against each
other to solve programming problems.
• in this challenge you can participate in team with any
programming language you know , the team is 2:3 participants
solve the programming problems in the 24-hours.
• So IEEE HSB will provide the technical sessions needed to know
the algorithm of the problems , how to solve them and know
the problems of the last Four competitions.

15. • RAS abbreviation for Robotics and Automation .
• The IEEE RAS empower undergraduate students through technical knowledge about
Robotics care
• Under construction content :
• To be able to go internationally and keep up with robotics science around the world
? RAS ( Robotics and Automation Society ) under construction competition will put
you exactly on the right track ...
• All what it takes is 2 robots :
• 1- manual
• 2-automatic
• 6 minutes match , 2 teams competing together .
• The Manual robot's task is to take blocks from the blocks area and build a tower , 4
floors 2 blocks each.
• When the tower is finished and ready the Automatic one should follow a line track on
his way to get the golden block from its zone and put it in the receiving zone for the
manual to place it on the top of the tower .

18. • IEEE, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, is the biggest
professional association that is dedicated to advancing technological
innovation and excellence. It was formed in 1963 with roots that go back to
1884.
• IEEE Egypt section was founded 60 years ago, and IEEE Helwan Student Branch
has been at the faculty for 6 years. Our academic programs are globally
certified and has been awarded many international awards as Darrel Chong
student activity award.
• Self learning is an effective method towards the human progress, that saves
money and time for many youth around the world, offers very good materials
for them and create a very big community of sharing knowledge and
experience.
• Because of that, IEEE|HSB offers this season a new experience for our heroes.
This year, Self learning will take a part along with our workshops, as a step to
achieve our goal to use the most effective ways to make the best results.
