It was aimed at inspiring the freshmen and women of biomedical engineering to join IEEE EMB and be part of the world's largest professional body of engineers for not only electrical and electronics but also for biomedical engineering..

ENGINEERING MEDICINE AND BIOLOGY SOCIETY, EMBS  Under the IEEE  The world’s largest international biomedical engineering society.  Togetherness between biomedical students internationally, professional biomedical engineers and other related disciplines in the line of engineering medicine and biology.  Has student clubs (An EMBS Club is a group of BME students who wish to create a local EMBS organization for the benefit of its student members in coordination with BME studies.) and branches (A student branch chapter is an organization of 12 or more IEEE EMBS Students who petition IEEE to create a local IEEE EMBS organization for the benefit of its student members) brian.matovu.ug@ieee.org
