Are you connecting with critical talent audiences through your digital communications? This 30+3 Webinar takes a close look at key strategic elements of digital employee and employer brand communications. From channel selection to media effectiveness, we'll examine the changing dynamics of digital communications.
Every B2B marketer knows the struggle is real. It’s not easy to create engaging content.
Engaging your audience isn’t about trying to shock them through gimmicks and off-brand quips. It’s about truly understanding who’s at the receiving end of your content: Real people. Unless you understand what keeps them up at night and what gets them excited, your content marketing simply won’t cut through the clutter and generate results.
Elevate Your Diversity Good Faith Recruiting Efforts with Digital Workology
"Not a week doesn’t go by where you hear about an organization who isn’t diverse among their STEM employees, board members or staff in the news. For companies, being diverse is serious business. For companies who are federal contractors, having a strong diversity program is part of their corporate obligations. And for companies who don’t meet those corporate obligations, the result can be costly and time-consuming with settlement costs ranging from $165,000 to $1.8 million not to mention countless audits, meetings and time spent on additional paperwork for alleged violations according to BLR.
We will dive into social media, programmatic ad buying and other campaigns guaranteed to help you target diverse candidates and meet your OFCCP hiring benchmarks. Learn how to embrace diversity recruiting focused on the larger business plan and strategy in addition to your federal DOL and OFCCP requirements.
It’s all too easy for organisations to get caught up in the shinier, glitzier realms of the content world – viral campaigns, social media outreach, custom publishing, slick video production, and more. So many ideas! So many opportunities!
But what about the basics? How about a strategic approach that focuses on getting the fundamentals right before embarking on complex creative campaigns?
Positioning content strategy and planning solely as a marketing function can lead to misplaced priorities, allowing certain fundamentals to slip through the cracks and cause trouble later on. The pressure on the customer support team keeps rising, and internal workflow breaks down… and no-one can quite figure out why.
In this session we consider what we might be neglecting in our rush to be exciting and trendy. We explore the content essentials, and look at how an organisation can manage and plan for them.
I presented this as a webinar for Data Conversion Laboratory on 10 December 2014 (http://www.dclab.com/webinars/back-to-basics-getting-the-content-essentials-right).
Please get in touch if you'd like me to give this or a similar talk in-house at your organisation.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

22. "Developing excellent communication skills is
absolutely essential to effective leadership. The
leader must be able to share knowledge and ideas
to transmit a sense of urgency and enthusiasm to
others. If a leader can't get a message across clearly
and motivate others to act on it, then having a
message doesn't even matter."
