recent graduates abilities before hiring
them because they would learn more
by observing them perform tasks than
by interviewing them.
The most practical idea
Job candidates for the same vacancy could form teams, propose a task that they
think it is related with the job they are applying for and solve it.
The most disruptive idea
All job candidates would be invited to a ropes course where their teamwork,
personal and social abilities would be evaluated.
My favorite idea
Invite all the candidates applying for the same job to an unconference.
Pose questions related to their future job and observe.
Look for leadership, ideas aligned to the company’s mission and teamwork skills.
