My theme will be Mexican cuisine, substituting meat for products like Quorn and tofu. The color scheme will be bright yellows, oranges, and greens. My target audience are young adults and students aged 10-20, looking for quick, easy yet high quality vegetarian dishes. Recipes will be photographed and printed on varnished cards. My second theme will be Indian cuisine substituting meat for products like Quorn. Colors will reflect Indian flag and spices. The target audience are mothers with multiple children seeking healthy, vegetarian dishes kids can help cook. Cards will have simple instructions and be varnished, shaped like India. Theme:
My theme will be revolved around Mexican cuisine. It will contain recipes and dishes from
Mexico, which have been substituted to fit the vegetarian market by using such products as
Quorn and tofu instead of meat.
The colour scheme will be bright with a mixture of yellows and oranges to reflect the Mexican
colours, I will also include green to reflect the colours of the Mexican flag.
Audience:
My target audience are young adults and students aged 10 to 20. As my target audience have
a busy lifestyle I will need to create dishes that will be quick and easy to make but still have a
high quality taste. My audience are generally female who are living on their own of who are
becoming more independent.
Production Methods:
We will be cooking our own food and taking our own photographs to include on the cards.
For the cards we will have a varnish over the top to avoid any food being spilt on the cards
and ruined.

My theme will be Indian and will include foods and dishes from India, which include

The colour scheme will include the colours of the Indian flag and colours, which reflect the
colour of the spices used in Indian cooking.

My target audience will be mothers with more than one child who are trying to cook
interesting dishes but keep them healthy and vegetarian.
I would also like the children to get involved with the cooking so I will aim to make my recipe
cards look bright and colourful to catch the eye of children.
I will also need to counter the fact that I will have to use simple and step-by-step instructions
for the children to follow.
Production Methods:
For these cards we will varnish them to avoid them getting stained and ruined by the
children who will be using them.
Varnishing them will also avoid food spilling on the cards.
We will also aim to shape the cards as the country.

My final theme will be based on the Christmas holiday so will include Christmassy colour
such as green red and gold, this will reflect the holiday feeling and attract an audience.
I will be making desserts that will be suitable for the vegan and vegetarian market so will
avoid using dairy products and if needed I will use soya milk.
Audience:
My target audience for this idea will be aimed at people who find them selves in a last
minute rush in the holidays as my recipes will be simple and quick to prepare and cook.
The majority of this audience will include mothers who have a busy lifestyle and who will
need to do the traditional Christmas meal last minute but be able to keep it vegan and
vegetarian.
Production Methods:
For these cards we will use bright and Christmassy colours to ensure that our products are
eye catching, we may also decorate the edges of our cards with some thin tinsel and shape
the cards into baubles.
