The purpose of this project is to create an area that displays user-specific academic progress within the appropriate roles, leveraging data through a back-end system. This project will include the necessary modifications to the back end to relay this information. More specifically, this project will include the following:
· Creating the graphical elements in a web-friendly format
· Creating the necessary web view to accommodate the graphical elements
· Creating the necessary changes to the back end to prepare data supporting the student information
· Creating the necessary web service to securely expose the student’s information to the graphical elements and web view

Due to business-specific processes, some students, particularly those who have been pursuing a degree for over four years, may not be able to see their academic progress using the deliverables of this project. Changes to the back end to expand this functionality are out of scope, as are any changes intended to enhance functionality to provide additional data beyond the academic progress already captured in another system.

The Assessment Journey Programme at Sheffield Hallam University has been formed to investigate, define and deliver the changes needed to provide a seamless and improved assessment experience for students and staff, and improve the operational effectiveness of assessment and feedback delivery.
Working with students and staff as well as engaging with the JISC EMA Project, the Programme has developed a clear picture of what we currently do, and has identified good practices and the changes needed in order to shape the institutional vision for assessment and the technology required within it.
During this workshop, we will share Sheffield Hallam University’s principles and vision for assessment and the resulting lifecycle developed to frame and describe the assessment experience of each stage of the lifecycle and for each set of stakeholders, and how this will develop the Programme’s shape, the sequence of delivery and its component projects. We will also report on the proposed technological future state for online management of assessment, which builds on successful initiatives at the University to research, develop and promote efficient and effective assessment and feedback strategies through the use of Blackboard solutions. Using the lifecycle and the future state model, participants will be asked to reflect on how these look for their own institutions, and consider how Blackboard might realise the future state for online management of assessment through existing functionality or bespoke customisations.

Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. So the 1st column list the 3 main risk identified for alt A. 2nd column is on the likehood meaning the probability of this issue to be happen with rating 1 indicate very seldom and 5 is most guaranteed to happen. 3rd column is on the consequences with rating 1 meaning the issue is negligible and rating 5 means the issue can cause big damage.
