The Erasmus+ project at Neos Skopos Junior High School has started with two activities. In the first activity, students submitted logo designs for the project focused on reducing, reusing and recycling, and Anna Stoikopoulou from the 3rd grade was the winner. The second activity involved first grade students creating a model eco-friendly city out of recyclable materials. Older students also designed a poster to promote the project.
Jeffrey Rosenfeld described his work using tumor sequencing to personalize cancer treatment. His lab uses a targeted sequencing panel to identify driver mutations in tumors, then filters variants using software like VarSeq. Making NGS Data Analysis Clinically Practical: Repeatable and Time-Effective ...Golden Helix Inc
Exploring next-generation sequence data requires an iterative process whereby a researcher can find a "needle in the haystack" that contributes to a particular disease or other phenotype. Once that needle has been found, a workflow can be established for analyzing other samples or to create a repeatable, time-effective process for clinical usage.
Yet, repeating a workflow that involves several different quality control, filtering, and analysis steps is burdensome and error-prone.
To solve this problem, we introduce custom workflow automation in SVS, which allows you to collapse dozens of steps into a few run-specific options. This click-and-go process saves an exponential amount of time while eliminating the inevitable user error that happens with tedious repetition and ensures that the exact same protocol is followed with each run, a critical requirement for use in the clinic.
1) Mums are often the main organizers for their families and feel pressured by their many responsibilities like work, taking care of children's needs, and household chores.
2) A typical day for a mum involves worrying about what her children need and a long list of tasks like making lunches, driving kids to activities, and home renovations.
3) Finding time for the whole family to do activities together is challenging due to differing interests and schedules, and mums often want a break from excitement while kids crave it.

This document discusses using whole exome sequencing (WES) to identify genes associated with cardiomyopathy in distant familial relationships. This document provides a summary of an evaluation study of a leadership program for affordable housing in Israel. The program aimed to: 1) increase knowledge about affordable housing issues; 2) develop a multi-sector perspective; 3) establish professional contacts; 4) encourage greater efforts to promote affordable housing; and 5) develop collaborative action plans. The evaluation found that the program was successful in increasing knowledge, developing multi-sector views, and establishing contacts among participants from government, civil society, business, and local government.
