2. Problem Scenario:
• ICT application have become an important
part of teaching and learning. The Ministry of
Education has invested a huge effort in terms
of financing and training to equip teachers
and students with ICT skills.

this project.
• Teachers and students need to be equip with

• Uses of ICT in education are familiar in
developing countries.
• Easy to attract students in teaching and
learning process.
• Teachers and staffs have to be expert in
handling the ICT appliances.
• MoE needs to provide teachers with a
complete module about integrating ICT in
teaching and learning.

• What is the importance of integrating ICT in
learning-teaching process?
• What are the issues that will rise from
integrating ICT in schools?
• What are the challenges from this projects?
• How to overcome the challenges, to make
sure that integrating ICT in school will
success?

ISSUES CHALLENGES
Smart schools - Lack of teachers and staffs that
are expert in handling ICT tools.
- Setting up the appliances can be
troublesome.
Too expensive to afford MoE has to allocate a huge amount
of budget to support the project and
also the maintenance.
SOLUTIONS:
-Teachers and staffs must find their own alternative - to
enrich themselves with the basic knowledge.
-School - plays role in take care of the ICT tools, give a
short brief to teachers, make sure they understand the
manual provided.
-Schools - avoid the damage to the tools.

and related books.
• Get more information from teachers and
staffs themselves.
• Having a discussion among the group
members.
