2. What is iconography?
Iconography consists of images and symbols used in a work
of art or the study or interpretation of these.

3. Why do we use iconography?
We use iconography to help the audience identify the genre
of a film they are watching. This is because we have grown
up to see certain ideas and sings being related to particular
film genres. For example in Western films audience would
expect to see hats and horses or in horror we would expect
use of lighting and darkness.

4. What examples of iconography could we expect in slasher films?
In Slasher films audience would expect to see a vulnerable girl usually teenagers
and masked killer as well as some time of weapon usually a knife.
