To develop an understanding of important European species and habitats, Environmental legislation and policy,
survey, assessment and monitoring.
Content Summary
Ecology and conservation of selected European species and habitats. Invasive non-native species. Principles
and techniques of faunal surveys, Phase 1 habitat surveys. Ecological Impact Assessments, biodiversity action
plans, legislation and policy. Site appraisal, consultation and evaluation.
