ICF Stock1
Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) is a
way for you to share in ICF's financial
sucess.
HOW? Purchasing stock allows you to
acquire equity interest. You purchase
your stock AT A DISCOUNTED RATE through
payroll deductions.
MUST work more than 20 hours a week OR more than 5
months per calendar year to be eligible to participate
ELIGIBILITY
ESPP price = 95% of the
average fair market value of
ICF stock on the purchase
date.
You can purchase stock in
1% increments (no more
than $25k/calendar year.
PRICE
There are two six-month offering periods: Jan. 1—June 30 and July 1—Dec. 31
Your tax liability depends on how long you own the shares, so be sure to
consult your tax advisor (or parents).
You may not change the
rate of your payroll
deduction DURING an
offering period. You must
wait until the NEXT
enrollment window.
HOWEVER...
You are able to stop the payroll deductions during an offering period.
The already contributed amount will be used to purchase ICF stock at the end of
the period. After increasing your deduction, you cannot resume the deductions
until a subsequent offering period.

Things you should know
Although your discounted stock purchase is tax free, you will have to pay
taxes when you sell the stock AKA "take out" the money from your stock.
The value of your original payroll deductions may decline when invested.

If you use public transportation or a vanpool, you can purchase your fare on a tax-free basis up to the monthly
IRS limit. Any costs exceeding the IRS limit are deducted from your paycheck on a post-tax basis.
To sign up for mass transit and parking via payroll deductions, go to Benefit Resource, Inc. (BRI) and use:
Company Code: icf
Member ID: 0000 + your 5-digit employee number
Password: initially, your home zip code
When you make your monthly transit election with Benefit Resource, Inc., include ICF match of up to $100 per
month. ICF will make sure this portion isn't deducted from your pay. For example, if you elect $150, only $75 will
be deducted from your pay and ICF will contribute the other $75.
You'll receive a Beniversal card to use like a credit card for qualified transit expenses at approved vendors
This card is loaded automatically with your transit payroll deductions and the ICF subsidy each month (half of
monthly election from two pay periods each month).
Bicycle SubsidyYou can receive an after-tax reimbursement for
approved maintenance and upkeep of a bicycle if you
use it to bike to work an average of 3-4 times a week.
Reimbursements are up to $25 a month and are paid
on a quarterly basis.
Employees who purchase a bike for the first time to
participate in this program are eligible for a $75
reimbursement once every two years. This counts
toward the quarterly maximum.
The bicycle subsidy can't be combined with the Mass
Transit Benefit.

There are no ongoing commitments—you
can plan as little as one trip at a time.
It's free to join and easy to use. To get

ZipCarICF's Zipcar partnership gives you highly discounted weekday
rates, more than half off the annual fee, and exemption from the
application fee.

Understanding
your deductible
Sometimes an insurance plan will have a low
monthly payment (what gets taken out of your
paycheck), BUT BE CAREFUL!
PAY ATTENTION to how much your deductible is. The
deductible is how much you have to pay before your
care services are free or much cheaper!
If you choose a plan
based on one, without
looking at the other,
you may end up
paying money you
thought you were
saving!!!
The purpose of Tax Form W-4 is simple ― it
is used by your employer to withhold the
proper amount of federal income tax from
your paycheck.
The IRS recommends that employees submit a
new W-4 tax form each year, or any time their
personal or financial situation changes. Of
course, this is required upon being hired.
Understanding your

The more allowances you have (marriage,
dependents, etc. ) the less taxes you get
pulled out of your paycheck.
You can opt to have more taken out so
that when filing season comes around,
you owe less to the IRS.
Take advantage of those pre-tax
deductions!! They lower the amount of $$
that gets taken out.

  • 3. ICF Stock1 Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) is a way for you to share in ICF's financial sucess. HOW? Purchasing stock allows you to acquire equity interest. You purchase your stock AT A DISCOUNTED RATE through payroll deductions.
  • 4. MUST work more than 20 hours a week OR more than 5 months per calendar year to be eligible to participate ELIGIBILITY ESPP price = 95% of the average fair market value of ICF stock on the purchase date. You can purchase stock in 1% increments (no more than $25k/calendar year. PRICE
  • 5. There are two six-month offering periods: Jan. 1—June 30 and July 1—Dec. 31 Your tax liability depends on how long you own the shares, so be sure to consult your tax advisor (or parents). You may not change the rate of your payroll deduction DURING an offering period. You must wait until the NEXT enrollment window.
  • 6. HOWEVER... You are able to stop the payroll deductions during an offering period. The already contributed amount will be used to purchase ICF stock at the end of the period. After increasing your deduction, you cannot resume the deductions until a subsequent offering period.

  • 10. Things you should know Although your discounted stock purchase is tax free, you will have to pay taxes when you sell the stock AKA "take out" the money from your stock. The value of your original payroll deductions may decline when invested.

Understanding your 401(k)2 Roth IRATraditional IRA Does not affect the amount of matched contribution All 401(k) participants are charged a quarterly $12.50 record- keeping fee Traditional (pre-tax) contributions are taken from your paycheck before taxes, which lowers your taxable income. Roth contributions are taken on an after tax basis. This means you won’t pay taxes when you begin to withdraw from your account as long as you are at least age 59½ and have had the money in the plan for at least 5 years.

Any costs exceeding the IRS limit are deducted from your paycheck on a post-tax basis. To sign up for mass transit and parking via payroll deductions, go to Benefit Resource, Inc. (BRI) and use: Company Code: icf Member ID: 0000 + your 5-digit employee number Password: initially, your home zip code When you make your monthly transit election with Benefit Resource, Inc., include ICF match of up to $100 per month. ICF will make sure this portion isn't deducted from your pay. For example, if you elect $150, only $75 will be deducted from your pay and ICF will contribute the other $75. You'll receive a Beniversal card to use like a credit card for qualified transit expenses at approved vendors This card is loaded automatically with your transit payroll deductions and the ICF subsidy each month (half of monthly election from two pay periods each month).
  • 16. Bicycle SubsidyYou can receive an after-tax reimbursement for approved maintenance and upkeep of a bicycle if you use it to bike to work an average of 3-4 times a week. Reimbursements are up to $25 a month and are paid on a quarterly basis. Employees who purchase a bike for the first time to participate in this program are eligible for a $75 reimbursement once every two years. This counts toward the quarterly maximum. The bicycle subsidy can't be combined with the Mass Transit Benefit.

FSA vs. HSA Flexible Spending Account: Have to determine how much you're going to need that year BASED ON ANTICIPATED EXPENSES If you don't use all the $$ in your account that year, it DOES NOT roll over Can be used towards medical expenses Health Savings Account: ICF makes a contribution Money rolls over if you don't use it Can be paired with a limited use FSA depending on your insurance plan

  • 24. Understanding your deductible Sometimes an insurance plan will have a low monthly payment (what gets taken out of your paycheck), BUT BE CAREFUL! PAY ATTENTION to how much your deductible is. The deductible is how much you have to pay before your care services are free or much cheaper! If you choose a plan based on one, without looking at the other, you may end up paying money you thought you were saving!!!
  • 25. The purpose of Tax Form W-4 is simple ― it is used by your employer to withhold the proper amount of federal income tax from your paycheck. The IRS recommends that employees submit a new W-4 tax form each year, or any time their personal or financial situation changes. Of course, this is required upon being hired.   • 26. The more allowances you have (marriage, dependents, etc. ) the less taxes you get pulled out of your paycheck. You can opt to have more taken out so that when filing season comes around, you owe less to the IRS. Take advantage of those pre-tax deductions!! They lower the amount of $$ that gets taken out.
