This document discusses two poultry diseases: Infectious Bursal Disease (Gumboro) and Inclusion Body Hepatitis/Hydropericardium Syndrome (IBH/HPS). Infectious Bursal Disease is caused by a birnavirus and affects the immune organs of young chickens aged 18-40 days, causing depression, diarrhea, and immunosuppression. Lesions include swelling and hemorrhages in the bursa. IBH/HPS is caused by an avian adenovirus and can affect the liver, kidneys, heart and immune organs of chickens aged 3-4 weeks, causing jaundice, hemorrhages, and liver swelling.
