Noel Lane has spent over 20 years identifying business opportunities and successfully converting
those opportunities into profitable ventures. A devoted entrepreneur and team builder, Lane has
successfully formed new businesses, repositioned and reorganized existing businesses, and
expanded the operations of businesses primarily focused in commercial, residential, and mixed
use developments in three countries and seventeen US states generating $2.5 billion in revenues.
Between 1982 and 2002, as president and CEO, Lane managed the restructuring and sale of 12
companies with assets in excess of $227 million. In 1993, Lane sold regional homebuilder
Melody Homes, for $38 million after increasing its unit sales by 522%, its gross revenues by
727%, and achieving a 21% return on equity. Lane founded HomeAid Colorado, a statewide
501(c)(3) providing shelters for the temporarily homeless and served as its executive director for
its first 3 formation years. HAC is now 12 years old with 43 projects across Colorado.
Lane has served on seven boards of directors in Colorado and the US. He spent eleven years on
the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Denver and held all
senior leadership positions including President. He was President, Board Member, and Executive
Director of HomeAid Colorado, Board Member of HomeAid America, National Association of
Home Builders Director, Senior Advisor to the Metro Housing Coalition PAC, Home Builders
Foundation Charter Member, Colorado Association of Home Builders Board Member, and
Denver Archdiocesan Housing Committee Board Member.
Among other awards and honors received during his distinguished career, Lane was recognized
for his professional and technical leadership (2002 Builder of the Year), innovative product and
marketing (55 awards for Major Achievement and Marketing Excellence), service to community
(107th US Congress Congressional Record Tribute), service to industry (1995 President, Home
Builders Association of Metropolitan Denver) and business performance ("Fastest Growing
Privately Held Colorado Company", two years in a row, Denver Business Journal and Colorado
Real Estate Journal).
He was most recently the principle advisor for a 20 year old foreign and domestic consultancy
firm specializing in business development and project management in the US, Asia, and South
America. He directs his focus to strategic plan development for business startup and expansion,
reorganization, and return to profit based operations. His expertise includes product and market
positioning, team building, customer satisfaction, and quality control. His experience extends to
national and international identification of sourcing for strategically linked relationships in real
estate, construction, the petroleum and environmental industries, investment, and capital
provisioning.
A graduate of the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, Masters of Business
Administration program, Lane has taught project management and business development on both
junior college and university levels. He is a past little league coach, scout leader, and high school
tennis coach.
