SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
Ian Anderson has over 30 years experience in the Oil & Gas & Marine Industry encompassing a
wide range of project and staff positions from the Norwegian Oil Industry of the early 80’s,
through to his present position as with Semco Maritime Rig Division in Vietnam.
In addition to a period as QA Manager for ABB Nera Satcom in Oslo, Ian Anderson gained
significant experience during his years in the Middle East in development and implementation of
Quality Systems through to ISO 9001-2000 certification and controlling teams of QA/QC
Inspectors.
Having spent ten years with Lamprell Energy in Dubai as Operations Manager and eventully
Vice President Operations & HSEQ, Ian gained a wealth of experience in the regional Offshore
Construction and Jack Up Rig refurbishment sector.
An HSE Diploma Holder from the British Safety Council (BSC) with full membership of
MIIRSM, Ian has played an active role in Introducing and Implementing HSE procedures,
policies and systems with a variety of Middle East Companies.

Offshore Installation of a series of Jackets, topsides and L/Q JackUp on the Karkara field
offshore Qatar.
In addition to 3 years with Maritime Industrial Services promoting their Newbuild Rig Program,
securing several New Build contracts for F&G Super M2 Rigs plus refurbishment and repair
contracts throughout the Middle East market before returning to Lamprell in January 2009..
