The document analyzes how cultivation methods, variety, fertilization, region, and ripeness affect the nutritional composition of strawberries. Researchers studied two main varieties over two years, collecting samples from organic and conventional cultivation. They found that potassium was the main mineral, and vitamin C levels were not significantly impacted by organic cultivation. Pesticide levels were below accepted limits. The study concluded that genotype and origin have a greater impact on fruit composition than cultivation techniques, and all strawberries were safe for consumption.

This study was performed to Evaluation of salinity stress on marigold’s growth with Bacteria inoculation with afactorial experimental design and 3 replications. First factor was bacteria (inoculated and no inoculated) and second factor was salinity stress (control, 2, 4 and 8dS/m). After the experiment, some morphological characters and morphological of marigold were evaluated such as height, yield of fresh and dried flowers, number of flowers per plant, grain yield, petals, seed weight. Totally, it was founded that with increased stress levels from 0 to 8dS, the height, fresh yield of flowers, yield of flower dry weight, number of flowers per plant, grain yield, petals and seed weight, showed 43, 60, 56, 17, 64, 15 and 30percent of reduction, respectively. Also, it was determined that the using of bacteria can reduce the effects of stress on marigold.

Tomato contains vitamins A, C and lycopene etc., Red colour of tomato is
because of lycopene. Lycopene is recognized as a strong antioxidant, and is also an
anti-cancer substance. It prevents breast and prostate cancers. It also reduces the
aging process and removes free radicals damaging cells. Thus high quality fruits make
the tendency of people’s consumption for this strategic vegetable’s increase.
Genotypes prepared with its native from Russia, Netherlands and Iran were evaluated
and Chef cultivar was taken as a control. In this examination, 10 new genotypes were
analyzed as far as a few indicators of quality in Ahvaz. One of the tomato quality
assessment techniques is sensory lab assessment (plant test). This exploration was
completed at 2013 in Chamran University, Ahvaz, Iran. Genotypes mean comparison
showed that the most quality was related to M48, 21 genotypes and the lowest of this
was related to 16, 19 cultivars. Also result indicated that M48, 25 had the most
sourness and the lowest of this was belonged to cultivar 18. Chef cultivar as a control
had the fleshiest tissue and also 33 and 36 genotypes had the most appropriate colour

Bell pepper, also known as sweet pepper or a pepper
and capsicum, is a cultivar group of the species Capsicum
annuum. Cultivars of the plant produce fruits in different colors,
including red, yellow, orange, green, chocolate/brown,
vanilla/white, and purple. Bell peppers are sometimes grouped
with less pungent pepper varieties as "sweet peppers“. Bell
peppers are sensitive to an abundance of moisture and excessive
temperatures. The main aim of this project is to determine the
proximate principles of bell pepper. To perform sensory
evaluation of the bell pepper recipe in order to determine it
acceptability in terms of different sensory attributes. To make
oneself familiar with Research Methodology that is reference
work, experimental work, statistical analysis of experimental
data, interpretation of results obtained, writing of project work
and compilation of bibliography in proper order. To study the
biochemical and nutritional profile of bell pepper.The various
proximate principles and physiochemical properties of bell
pepper sample are recorded. To estimate various parameters in
an individual sample of bell pepper with two different colours.
The estimate various nutritional components of bell pepper are
recorded. To estimate their liking on the basis of the taste of two
bell pepper by conducting sensory evaluation. The significance of
the study section is that we get the chance to create a perspective
for looking at the problem. It points out how the study relates to
the larger issues and uses a persuasive rationale to justify the
reason for the study. The significance of the study makes the
purposes worth pursuing. In a project to identify and analyse the
phytochemical properties of bell pepper were evaluated.The bell
pepper selected fruit were greenish-reddish in color and firm
feeling.The study suggests that red and green bell pepper has
equal nutritive value and infact the red bell pepper has more
culinary uses and is more spicy and tastier than green bell
pepper. We have done proximate analysis and also antimicrobial
activity was done to check the minimal inhibitory concentration
and sensory evaluation have also done for the sample the results

Theni districts could be considered one of the highest grapes producing area also export best quality of
Paneer dhrakshai Indian table grapes in Tamil Nadu. The research work focused to identify the nutritive compounds in
the grapes (Vitis vinifera) species which are a wonderful fruit having pulp content, vibrant color and exert an immense
health benefits. Grape fruits were found to be rich source of Anthocyanin content and vitamin C also macromolecules
contents such as carbohydrate contents of 29mg, Protein 18.7mg and fat content 3.7mg /100 g of f. wt. Micronutrients
were estimated by AAS which showed that calcium content was 3.1mg/g.f.wt, iron content 2.7 mg/g.f.wt, potassium 2.6
mg/g.f.wt found to be more than other minerals in fresh extracts of grape fruits. The comparative results of revealed
considerable amount of phytoconstituents in grape fruits in which anthocyanins alone has been taken to evaluate
therapeutic effects on breast cancer cell MCF-7 cell viability test was carried out to determine cell proliferation. The
results revealed presence of anthocyanins in high quantity in the process of purification through various biochemical
methods that could ultimately be used for preventing cancerous cell proliferation which reduces the development of
cancer diseases. On comparison Grapes (Vitis vinifera) may serve as functional food with vital pharmaceutical and
biological value.

This study aims to evaluate the growth adaptability, yield performance and Pest infestation on three introduced strawberry varieties at Bataan namely; Sweet Charlie, Festival and Summer Princess. Evaluation test was based on the Plant height, Number of Runners, Days to flower, Number of fruit bears, Weight of fruit per pot, Computed Yield and Pest degree infestation. This was conducted at the Greenhouse Nursery of BPSU, Abucay Campus. In terms of growth adaptability, Sweet Charlie obtained the most prominent character followed by Festival variety and Summer Princess. On the yield performance, all varietal tested are comparable to each other, However, Summer princess revealed as least in growth adaptability, study shows that, summer princess yielded better than the two remaining varieties tested under greenhouse condition. Thus, summer princess variety is a more noticeable and promising variety that can tribe in Bataan condition. On Insect and Disease assessment, most prevalent insects found are Cutworm and Aphids while on diseases, Anthracnose fruit rot and Angular leaf spot were observed these are caused by fungi. Further studies may focus on the cultural management practices, field test to find out more promising cultivars that will thrive best to Bataan, Sensory evaluation is also recommended.
Salmonella spp. dynamics in wild blueberry, Vaccinium angustifolium Aiton
A six-year field study (2012-2015) was conducted in the two major wild blueberry growing regions in Maine USA, Midcoast and Downeast. This study used data from two cropping cycles (four years) to model the dynamics of Salmonella spp. prevalence in wild blueberry fields (Vaccinium angustifolium Aiton). A path diagram based upon structural equation modeling suggests that beyond annual variation, the type of cropping system determined wild blueberry production methods of fertilization and fungicide applications for control of plant pathogens that then both affect the prevalence of Salmonella spp. Fungicide applications have a direct negative effect on Salmonella spp. prevalence and the microbial community on the fruit that positively affects Salmonella spp. prevalence. Fertilizer application has an indirect effect on the presence of Salmonella spp. by determining soil fertility that then determines the blueberry plant nutrient profile. This then determines specific nutrient levels in the plant, especially Cu, K, Mg, Mn, and K. These nutrients (especially Ca, K, and Mg and to a lesser extent Cu, Mn, and Zn) directly affect Salmonella spp. prevalence in a complex mix of indirect and direct, and negative and positive interactions, including the regulation of sugars in the fruit that appears to have a negative effect on Salmonella spp. prevalence. The conceptual model presented in this study generates several new hypotheses to test regarding the ecology of Salmonella spp. in commercial wild blueberry fields in Maine, USA.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic Imperative
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
