Front Back Front Back
Skirts
Upon creating the skirts, I have learnt
how to use the Pen Tool in Illustrator
that involves dragging and picking,
creating outlines with ‘anchors’ or points
and converting these in either sharp or
curved points.
I have also learnt how to apply denim
pattern on the skirts with the same
tool and using the ‘snap to grid’ to
make the diagonal lines align together.
Furthermore I have learnt how to use
the Shape-builder tool to merge shapes
together.

Redesigned Apps
With this task i have learnt how to redesign apps using the correction measurements for the apps’ curved rectangular frame and how to
properly used the Divide tool on the Pathfinder pallet to crop shapes that forms the image of the apps. I have done 3 designs for each
app- Photo Editor and WordWeb
Photo Editor App
WordWeb App

6. iPhone Skirts
Full Colour Achromatic Colour Monochromatic Colour
With this task I have learnt how
to design iPhone covers using
the correction measurements for
the iPhone’s curved rectangular
frame. Most importantly I have
learnt how to create a swatch
which requires another non filled
background outline to be pasted
behind the pattern to be dragged
into the swatch pallet and become
a swatch. I have discovered
that swatch pattern can also be
manipulated into different sizes and
angles.
