The student is most proud of their notebook grade which helped raise their overall grade after a poor test score. They found the tests and quizzes to be the most challenging part of the quarter due to difficulty memorizing material. The biggest improvement was on homework quizzes through improved homework and studying homework the day it was due. The student did okay but could have done better, specifically on tests and quizzes which negatively impacted their grade. To improve next quarter, they will study more, pay closer attention in class, and ensure they memorize notes before tests and quizzes.
Thsi is a fun electronic evaluation I created for my students - they have to fill it in with their suggestions and commentaries and then send it to me by mail.
The use of digital and online tools to measure performance is causing educators to rethink not only how we collect assessment data but also how we teach and learn in information age schools. The upcoming Common Core online assessments are driving school districts to build out infrastructure, purchase devices, shift to digital content and capture student performance data that would be extremely difficult using paper and pencil methods. Regardless of whether your state is participating in the Common Core, online assessments will play a critical role in the future of education.
Please join the Center for Digital Education as we discuss the future of assessment in a digital world and how to best prepare for that future. On this interactive webinar, we will cover:
• The changing role of assessment
• Trends and opportunities with online assessment
• Expert advice on implementing assessment technology and tools
• Review of emerging assessment technologies
• Educator insights on implementing successful assessment programs

Badges and microlearning have become popular training tools, but learning professionals should be wary of old, tired practices dressed as new, hot trends. Learning and development teams must shift their focus from quantifying how much training someone has attended to examining what an employee can do as a result of their attendance. This highly interactive session will focus on best practices for implementing competency-based learning within your organization.
Directions for teachers to use with their class when taking the Smarter Balanced Practice Test. Directions include steps for providing feedback on the process of taking the test.

The following questions should be answered on this document. Please type your
answers in BLUE. Remember to export to a PDF before uploading.
What academic achievement are you most proud of this quarter in Honors World History?
Why? The academic achievement that I am most proud of this quarter is the notebook grade.
The first test we had really brought down my grade, but the notebook grade really helped me
gain half of the points back on my overall grade. Iʼm also just happy that Iʼm not failing the
class, especially with my poor test/quiz grades.
What was the most challenging part of this quarter in Honors World History? Why?
The most challenging part of this quarter was definitely the tests and quizzes, because I found
them to be very complicated. I guess it was just hard for me to memorize everything for the
tests and quizzes.
In what area do you feel you have made you biggest improvements?
I feel that I have made the biggest improvement on my homework quizzes. My homework has
also improved since the beginning of the semester which gives me pretty high grades on the
homework quizzes that we take the day that the homework is due.
How well did you do this quarter? If there was one thing you could change about your
performance in Honors World History what would it be and why?
I did okay, but I couldʼve done better. If there was one thing that I could change about my
performance, it would have to be how I do on my tests and quizzes. The grades for the tests
and quizzes are whatʼs killing me.
What should you do next to improve your performance for 4th quarter?
To improve for 4th quarter, Iʼm definitely going to study more and pay more attention to what
we talk about in class. Before tests and/or quizzes, Iʼm going to look over my notes and make
sure that I memorize them so that I can get at least a B on the test/quiz.
