Busó walk
The busó people wear traditional clothes at
carneval time. According to tradition they chase
away the winter.
Kisze doll
The Kisze doll is burnt when winter is over and
                spring is coming.
Sprinkle on easter monday
The men sprinkle the women on easter Monday
morning. The women give men easter eggs.

Reaper Holiday




It is a holiday when the harvest is being
                 finished.

It is on Luca’s day. That day is a day of witches.
 Chairs are made by people at that time. Luca’s
               day is 13th December.
Play Betlehem
The people tell Jesus Christ’s birth story.
Szaloncukor (Xmas candy)
Some marzipan covered with chocolate. We use it
        for decorating the Xmas tree.
Bejgli
It is a traditional Hungarian cake that we eat at
Christmas. It is filled with nut or poppy seeds.
