This document outlines the learning intentions, success criteria, and tasks for a unit on human rights. The unit will define human rights, identify student rights, explore equality in relation to human rights, examine the UN Declaration of Human Rights, and investigate current human rights issues. Students will research examples of upheld and neglected human rights, human rights activists, and create a poster promoting Human Rights Day in December. Tasks include creating a collage defining human rights, comparing student rights to the UN Declaration, researching case studies, and producing a presentation on cyber safety and human rights.
