Project Presentation and Financial Information
The proposed Backcountry Outdoor Center project includes a building at Backcountry Base Camp: the Environmental Education Center. The building will be the launchpad for our community to engage with and learn in the outdoors. From a licensed nature preschool and staff offices to flexible indoor/outdoor spaces that will morph from gathering places to a weather shelter, the Environmental Education Center is the next great HRCA amenity. Once our staff's HQ is the Environmental Education Center, Base Camp will be open for more public hours to enjoy walking on our new interpretive trail and visiting our barnyard animals.
Our annual series of Charity Seminars held across the region will this year focus on the various elements involved in building a sustainable charity.
The seminar programme will cover:
• Creating a vision: How to build a resilient organisation and resilient teams
• Turning a vision into a plan: What does a good plan look like and how do you obtain funding?
• Keeping the plan on track: This session will focus on key aspects of financial reporting including the different information requirements of management and trustees
• Effective trustee boards as part of building a sustainable charity
• Real relationships that provide sustainable income
• Why are you here? Achieving impact from your fundraising messages
Since the first contribution of $26.50, our Endowment
Fund has grown to more than $350 million in net assets
and $770 million in promises of future gifts. Learn how the
endowment continues to grow, how it is invested, how it
supports grants, and how we are working to strengthen its
impact over the Foundation’s second century of service.
Creating your personal legacy within the endowment
is covered in two complementary sessions: “Rotary’s
Tomorrow Depends on What We Do Today” and “Enhance
Your Rotary Legacy with U.S. Tax-Wise Gift Options.”

When one thinks about risk management and finance, one immediately thinks about insurance. Insurance can be an effective way of managing risks that could otherwise result in large losses, which low-income people cannot cope with out of their cash flow or through the informal support of friends and relatives. To be most effective, however, insurance should be part of a broader range of financial services that includes savings, credit and money transfers, which together enable the working poor to manage a variety of risks.
To test new approaches, the ILO is currently working with partners in Asia to develop integrated risk management solutions. This webinar presents the experiences of four partners who are developing savings-linked risk management solutions to help members better manage risks related to health, calamity and life.
The featured partners include: KOMIDA, a non-profit MFI in Indonesia, Oro Integrated Co Operative (OIC) and Nabunturan Integrated Co Operative (NICO), two savings and credit cooperatives in the Philippines and CLIMBS, a cooperative insurance in the Philippines. The webinar presents lessons from the product development process and results from ongoing pilots.

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

55. Richard Louv: Last Child in the Woods
• "Passion is lifted from the earth itself by the muddy hands of the young; it
travels along grass-stained sleeves to the heart. If we are going to save
environmentalism and the environment, we must also save an endangered
indicator species: the child in nature."
• "Playtime—especially unstructured, imaginative, exploratory play—is
increasingly recognized as an essential component of wholesome child
development."
56. • A growing body of evidence that direct exposure to
nature is essential for healthy childhood
development and for the physical and emotional
health of children and adults.
• “Access to nature—and the benefits that
come with it—are a necessity, not a nicety.”
