The Lincoln Heritage Council had an outstanding year in 2012, setting records for fundraising and membership despite economic challenges. Over 10,000 volunteers supported more than 36,000 youth in Scouting programs. The Council grew membership, increased retention rates, operated with a balanced budget, and saw 352 Scouts earn the Eagle Scout rank. Financially, Friends of Scouting increased by 14% and popcorn and camp card sales totaled over $2 million. The Council continues to invest in facility improvements and now serves 64 counties across 4 states.
