frequency?
● adverbs that change or qualify
the meaning of a sentence by
telling us how often or how
frequently somethings happens
Common adverbs of
frequency
● Always (100%)
● Often (75%)
● Sometimes (50%)
● Rarely (25%)
● Never (0%)
*place the adverb before the verb in
the sentence
More adverbs of
frequency
● (three) times a day
● every (morning/afternoon/evening)
● on Mondays
● once in a while, every now and
again, from time to time
*can be placed before or after the
verb in the sentence
