Now that we have gotten that out of the way, let’s get to the training. After studying a multitude of businesses in various market, what we now know is that in order for you to be successful you need the 5 pillars. Having one or two of these pillars will get you ahead but will NOT get you to a place where you can breathe a sight of relief and quit your full time job. It is important that you stay till the end and take notes on every single pillar. DO you know why most business fail? They are missing one of these pillars. SO what are these pillars? Great question.
Sandra everyone says that and I am tired of hearing it. So couple of months ago, we were called in by one of our corporate clients. They had a huge problem. Their sales were declining by 20%. We had worked with them previously on launching a loyalty program. When we asked the CEO what he taught the problem was he told us that he was sure it was either the systems they were using or the employee morale. When we asked about the niche, they told us that they had been in business for two decades, had over 500k clients and they knew their clients inside and out. Well, within couple of hours, we realized that he was wrong. They knew their clients in the USA but their new market in ASIA was a new market. They had skipped the important exercise of defining their niche. We used our three step niche strategy to help them turn things around. Now we can’t deep dive into the strategy during this training the way we do with our clients, however, we gonna share with you some nuggets that will get you started.
Put the persona. When defining your audience you need to think about him or her as a real person with a real life. Get rid of the fear of getting too niche down. Over the past 15 years we have never come across anyone who is too niche down. It is usually the opposite problem. People don’t ever niche down well enough. You see where people stop is wit the age and gender. They don’t get down to the motivations, the personality of the person, the values… See that’s where the real magic is.
Take a piece of paper right now and think back at your favorite client. What was it about what you were able to teach them that got you excited. If you were diying and everything you have ever written was erased and you only had a post it note, what would you write on there. What is the single most important message you have to share in the world. Another way to think about it is what do you wish you would say to your younger self.
I can’t tell you what your number is however, our clients all charge 2k-10k for their offers. I had a client come to us, Angela she was a leadership coach with over twenty years of experience, she was charging 199 for her 9 weeks program. Even at that price clients were complaining that they could not afford her. Once we implemented all the 5 pillars we are sharing with you today, she is now charging 5k for her programs and has a line of clients ready to work with her in her group program. What changed for Angela, well stick around as we cover the rest of the pillars.
Branding is the public perception of your brand. When we got ready to take our business to the next level, we knew it was time to uplevel our branding. Branding is not one thing, it is the cumulation of many elements such as your photos, videos, website, logo, the way you dress, your business cards.
