2. Whether you’re concerned about your privacy or want to disconnect from social media, there are two ways
to get rid of your Facebook account: temporarily deactivate or permanently delete it.
The difference between the two options is that deleting your account is permanent, while deactivating is
temporary.
In this presentation, I’m going to show you how to delete an account from Facebook permanently or
temporarily. Keep in mind this action can’t be undone once your account is deleted. All your photos,
account history, likes and comments will be permanently removed. You won’t be able to sign up using the
same username if it has been taken by a new person after your account is deleted.

Log in to your Facebook account from
a mobile browser or computer.

Click the arrow down icon in the top
right corner of Your Facebook page.

Settings from the dropdown menu.
