3. How to create attribute table in MapWindow 5 ?

Insert the
image/map/raster file
Create shapefile
WRITE THE NAME OF THE SHAPEFILE
SELECT THE TYPE OF THE SHAPEFILE
To digitize locations, select point shape file
and use the Add Geometry tool(6).Click on
the location points of the example image to
generate attributes for each locations. For
each click on the location one shape attribute
will be generated. The same process is
repeated to digitize line(rivers, roads etc.) or
area(pond, lake, watershed etc..) features.
Select Polyline and Polygon as Layer Type
respectively for Line and Area features.
