This document provides instructions for adding a drawing to a document in 3 steps: click where you want to insert the drawing in your document, click Shapes on the Insert tab to select a shape, and then adjust the size of the inserted shape using the arrows or typing dimensions on the Format tab.

1. How to add a
drawing to a

2. Click in your
document
where you want
to create the
drawing.
On
the Insert tab, in
the Illustrations
group,
click Shapes.

3. You can do any of
the following on
the Format tab,
which appears
after you insert a
drawing shape:
Adjust the size of the
shapes. Select the shape
or shapes you want to
resize. On the Format tab,
in the Size group, click the
arrows or type new
dimensions in
the Height and Width
boxes.
