PAYMENT CAN BE MADE IN CASH, BY USING A CREDIT
OR DEBIT CARD, OR THROUGH THE UBER CASH SYSTEM.
GETTING STARTED
The Uber app requires users to initially
create an account, which requires an email
address and a mobile phone number. The
app can be downloaded from either Google
Play or the App Store.
FINDING A DRIVER
When the app is downloaded and an ac-
count created, users can click on the
‘Where To?’ button. They are then prompt-
ed to enter their location for pick-up and,
once confirmed, the app matches them to
the nearest available driver.
TRACKING AND VERIFICATION
Once a ride has been booked, the location
of the vehicle can be live-tracked on the
app. Users are supplied with information
including the make and model of the car,
the registration number and a photo of the
driver, so they can confirm they are getting
into the right car.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made in cash, by using a
credit or debit card, or through the Uber
Cash system.
