Most often than not, a brand’s target audience is the
person who is the consumer of that product or
service. But during the festivals, your audience net
widens for some time. During this time, brands need
to reach people that are looking to buy gifts for your
end consumers. It becomes crucial to reach family,
friends, and even colleagues of your end consumer.
So always keep in mind that festivals are the time of
the year when you can cast a wider net as the
potential purchaser pool of your product expands
drastically.
Your audience
With the number of influencers steadily increasing,
you would think, it would be easy to find just the right
one, but the exact opposite seems to be happening.
You need to find an influencer that can naturally and
seamlessly integrate your services into their content.
The content should not appear unnatural or
awkward. For instance, during the festival time, it
makes perfect sense to hire a female fashion
influencer for a men's shoe if the influencer positions
it as buying it as a gift for brother or other family
members.
Finding the right influencers
Finding the right influencer is a time-consuming
process. You don’t want to wait till the last minute to
book the influencers. Starting pretty far in advance
will also give you an opportunity to create hype and
give previews of your campaign to your audience.
Start way in advance
Festivals for everyone is a special time of positivity
and warm feelings. Offering them a feel-good
experience, like coming together for a good cause
creates a positive association with the brand.
Consider conducting contests and giveaways. They
help in building hype, site traffic, leads, and sales. The
influencer can not only promote products but also
visit events and pop-up shops and special festival
markets. They can also review a service or an
experience, generating interest in these events.
Figure out your offerings
It’s important to track key performance metrics
throughout your campaign. Set clear campaign
objectives and set proper KPIs in place. The festival
campaigns need to be unique and memorable so
that they stand out from the plethora of similar
campaigns.
