This Presentation is from the Graph Expo session, “In-Plant Panel, Champions Engage for the Future.” Panelists: Mike Lincoln, State of Colorado; John Sarantakos, University of Oklahoma; Andrew Yee Dynamic Funds, and Karen Meyers, Michigan Farm Bureau are all leaders of in-house print centers in the US and Canada. The panel session consisted of nine questions for the panelists, several of which were videoed and six of which are in SlideShare with the panelist’s answers. Topics covered include why these in-plants are champions, how they are engaged to meet the future, how they stay relevant, the tools and technology they are using to grow, and much more.   2. Panelists for the session ““In-Plant Panel, Champions Engage for the Future” represent four major verticals- Higher Ed, Financial Services, Government, and non-profit. Together, their operations employ almost 170 people, and they produce about 110 million print impressions. All of the panelists also provide mailing services and all manage the MFP fleet. John Sarantakos, Director, Printing, Mailing & Document Services for OU, the largest university in-plant. John has been with the university for 18 years, has over 45 years of experience in the printing field, is the Past President of the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) and has served on the IPMA Board for the last seven years. Andrew Yee is Director, Statement & Document Production Dynamic Funds, a part of The Bank of Nova Scotia (“Scotiabank”), Canada’s third largest bank. Andrew has been with Dynamic Funds for over 10 years and has over 20 years of experience in financial services, including personal banking, corporate banking and insurance. Mike Lincoln currently serves as the Colorado State Printer in the state’s Department of Personnel and Administration, Division of Central Services, Integrated Document Solutions group. The stats of Colorado is the fourth largest government in-plant. Mike has over 30 years of experience in printing and the printing industry, combined with over 20 years in the customer support and customer relations arena, and currently serves as IPMA’s President-Elect. Karen Meyers is Business Manager Centralized Print and Mail Services for Michigan Farm Bureau, a non-profit. Karen has been with the department for over 8 years and has a background in Graphic Design and Marketing and a degree in Industrial Supervision and Management. Karen is an active member in a prominent software industry user and strategic partner groups.
