It is the ability of two or more social beings to come into contact, and
communicate or acknowledge one another, each being aware of each other.
Social Interaction is a changing sequence of social actions between
individuals or groups.

3. Current Forms of Social Interaction
As well as the basic Phone and Text message service, there
are several different mediums for social interaction today.
These include:

Social Media Sites: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.

Messaging Services: Whatsapp, Skype, Email etc.
•

As technology changes, social interaction mechanisms are

Business:
Businesses will function more smoothly due to the increase in
client/business interaction and hence relationships will thrive.

calls which would make international business easier to
incorporate.
Individual:
Tasks would be less time consuming for individuals, such as
online purchases and form filling as Artificial Intelligence
systems come to prominence.
The technology for online gaming would definitely improve
with the use of virtual reality and gamers could communicate
on a whole new platform. Perhaps communicating with each
other in a virtual world.

9. How Will These Changes Impact Human
Interactions?
I feel that with the rate of increase in technology advancements, the
methods of human interactions will increase just as much.
People will have the opportunity to enjoy all the luxuries that technology
has to offer, and will be able to use it more efficiently for small tasks
ranging from doing an online shop, up to a global scale of communication.
However all these beneficial aspects on human interaction can also come
with negative effects.
These have to be taken into consideration to ensure a sustainable balance
between the real and virtual world, and to make sure the positive effects
outweigh the negative influences.
If that is followed through, there are no limits to the potential of
technology and human interactions.
