The document outlines a vision for more sustainable and environmentally-friendly cities of the future. It proposes 12 actions to green cities including greening existing buildings, implementing home energy retrofits, using green materials for new homes, installing solar power and hot water, adopting renewable water and efficient transportation systems, and promoting urban farming. The goal is to reduce pollution and energy usage while improving quality of life through sustainable practices like recycling, energy efficiency, and renewable resources. The future of cities depends on the actions taken today to address climate change and transition to cleaner sources of power and transport.

This PowerPoint explorers the reasons why we should consider and develop solar power outside our atmosphere (space based) and transmit the collected power to earth-based antennas. It describes the limitations of earth-based green energy and its lack of ability to replace fossil fuels because of cost and lack of energy output.

Very, VERY dry material, I'm afraid. We were asked to teach a chapter of the text book. I did this presentation, and found it difficult even using PowerPoint to keep in interesting and streamlined enough to keep people awake. But the pictures are pretty, and I made the design template myself using modified clipart. :o)
If the world is to beat climate change and meet the conditions of the Paris agreement, society must see a fundamental transformation in the way we produce, distribute, and consume energy across transportation, heating, and home and business consumption of electricity. There are many ways to achieve this goal, and only time will tell whether we as a society will succeed and by what means.

f you offer a service on the web, odds are that someone will abuse it. Be it an API, a SaaS, a PaaS, or even a static website, someone somewhere will try to figure out a way to use it to their own needs. In this talk we'll compare measures that are effective against static attackers and how to battle a dynamic attacker who adapts to your counter-measures.

71. Summary
What will be in the further nobody knows but it fully
depends on our actions. So it is a decision for each of us
how do we want to live.
I would like to live in a green and comfortable city, which
use just “green” energy, has its own city farms and “green”
public transport. Comfortable house with a smart system
that helps to control house efficiency, when you are out, is
no longer a dream. Municipal government should control
sustainable growth of the city and ensure best conditions of
life for habitants.
And what is YOUR choice?
