Data governance teams attempt to apply manual control at various points for consistency and quality of the data. By thinking of our machine learning data pipelines as compilers that convert data into executable functions and leveraging data version control, data governance and engineering teams can engineer the data together, filing bugs against data versions, applying quality control checks to the data compilers, and other activities. This talk illustrates how innovations are poised to drive process and cultural changes to data governance, leading to order-of-magnitude improvements.
1) DevOps aims to improve collaboration between development and operations teams through practices like automation and continuous integration and delivery. Integrating cognitive services like machine learning into DevOps can help automate manual tasks like incident detection and root cause analysis.
2) Cognitive services use machine learning algorithms to simulate human thought processes. They acquire knowledge from data to identify patterns and model solutions. Integrating these services into DevOps can help automate support of applications in production.
3) IT analytics tools can analyze data using techniques like textual, statistical, and configuration pattern analysis to extract valuable insights. These tools can help address challenges in DevOps by monitoring changes across environments and validating pre-production testing.

Introduction to CRISP-DM and the R Platform Organizational BackgroundOrganizational Background:
The organization I currently work for and planning to implement the techniques of the data analytics course is T-Mobile USA, which offers wireless mobile phone services to 0ver 80 million customers in the United States. It’s a huge enterprise with large scale information technology systems that support the business that T-Mobile does. The company is seeing significant growth in terms of business and therefore the IT systems that are supporting the business. Myself as a DEVOPS engineer works on deploying the code to these mission critical systems, host them and operate to make sure the systems are working as expected. As the land scape of our IT systems grow, we want to be able to identify the issues in our systems in advance so that we can prevent them before causing any outage to the business. To achieve such a result, our IT systems logs needs to be analyzed in-depth to unleash the critical insights about the system performance and apply the feedback to improve our systems.

The CRISP-DM methodology involves 6 different steps
Business Understanding: Building the knowledge about business requirements and objectives from functional aspect and transforming this knowledge as a data mining objective with an implementation plan.
Data Understanding: Involves the process of data collection from diverse sources of data, review and understand the data to be able to identify the problems which compromise data quality and also give the initial understanding of what the data can deliver.
Data Preparation: The data preparation phase covers all activities to build the final dataset from the initial raw data collected.
Modeling: Modeling techniques are based on the objective of the problem being tried. So, based on the problem, model is decided and based on the model, data is collected.
Evaluation: The evaluation phase is taken up once.

How Can You Implement DataOps In Your Existing Workflow?
1. How Can You Implement DataOps In Your Existing Workflow?
Data is rapidly transforming and revolutionising the way you do business. A colossal amount of
information is now readily available to businesses that you can process, refine and use to your
advantage.
Data can offer you invaluable and insightful information about everything from demographics to
user behaviour, future sales forecasting, and so much more. Data can be an indispensable
resource for making informed decisions moving forward with your business.
In fact, quality data has now become the backbone of the IT industry. From developing an
application from scratch to making minor updates to existing software, data is one of the most
crucial elements. Every step in the software delivery lifecycle from development to testing and
delivery relies on good quality data for creating a reliable and high-performing software feature.
However, none of these benefits matters if your data is hard to access when required or is of
poor quality.
That's where DataOps comes into play.
2. What Does DataOps Signify?
DataOps is a relatively new terminology in the IT industry that involves various data tools to
solve the issues of processing and analysing the raw data and transforming it into a usable
format.
Due to resemblance in the term "DataOps" and "DevOps", both have been used
interchangeably to indicate the same approach or process. However, these two terms are
exclusive and have separate workflows.
While DevOps drives a streamlined and collaborative software development workflow, the
DataOps framework supports the DevOps methodology by maintaining an uninterrupted supply
of high-quality data wherever and whenever required.
Hire experienced professionals for your IT portfolio management and DataOps implementation
for seamless software delivery flow and efficient business processes.
When you Developers, testers, and the operational team is working with data, there are a few
things that should happen to make that data relevant and useful:
● Data must be organised for relevant information
● Data needs to be of impeccable quality to produce correct outcomes
● Data should be available when required; otherwise, an inventory of useful data will
become a complete waste.
How To Implement DataOps In Your Existing
Workflow?
Introduce Automated Testing
Introduce automated testing through the programs for identifying bugs and ensuring that
procured and analysed data is coming through as you expected.
Implement Data Monitoring
With data monitoring, you can test the quality of data your team is processing.
Use your standards and testing requirements for qualifying "good data" and monitor regularly.
Ensure your data processes and analysis comes up with good data to feed the DevOps
workflow and not be burdened by irrelevant or inaccurate information.
These regular monitoring can enhance confidence in your entire organisational system.
3. Containerise Your Code For Data Reusability
DataOps framework helps your entire workflow to stay agile. Code containerisation involves
packaging your code into simple, reusable pieces so that it can be utilised across various
platforms or languages.
Additionally, you can repurpose the data for future requirements, thus saving immense
resources and storage.
Don't Forget Regression Testing.
As advancements in your DataOps processes, regression testing becomes an eminent part of
your organisational workflow. With each new software update and new operation you are using,
you'll want to ensure that new issues don't crop up and old problems don't reappear.
Regression testing allows you to determine that your data sets are still relevant, functioning
accurately with the new updates.
If any bugs appear, you can take a step back to the past version, ensure that it's running
accurately, and then take the update back into the development phase before re-introducing it.
