Challenge Island: Introduction and Rotation OneLady Lark
This document introduces three families that will be part of a Sims neighborhood challenge. The families are:
1) The Jones family, consisting of parents Damion and Amara and their four children, who must earn money through non-career means and own the most expensive items to keep up appearances.
2) The Harden family, living in a trailer, consists of parents Betty and Stu, Bonnie, and their three toddlers, who struggle financially.
3) The Lynwood family, consisting now of just the teen Jack after his parents' accidental deaths, who must support himself through a job.
The document describes each family and establishes the challenges they will face in the simulated neighborhood.
The document discusses a group of seven friends preparing to leave their home and take up guerilla tactics against invading forces. They discuss splitting up, with some going to look for missing friends while others get a vehicle. They pack supplies and weapons, knowing their lives will now be at risk. As they prepare to leave, a helicopter is spotted outside, and they scramble to hide. They realize their pet dog Flip gave away their location. They shoot a cow for food and are about to leave when jets bomb the house, destroying it. They are shaken but also more resolved to keep fighting the invaders.
The group had several meetings over 6 weeks to plan their film, check their progress, and ensure they were on track to complete the project to their standards, with early meetings longer to discuss roles and story, and later meetings shorter to check filming and editing was on schedule.
This document summarizes a Sims gameplay session where the player tries to fulfill relationship wants for multiple Sims while earning points. Several romantic interactions occurred between Sims, earning some points but also losing some for getting caught. One Sim, Gerard Sanders, sadly died of old age. By the end of this session, Vanessa benefited the most from her relationships.
1) The document is a synopsis for a film about three college friends - Martin, Corey, and Conner.
2) After one of their classes is cancelled, Corey finds a scratched disc on the ground and decides to take it home, which leads to horrific events.
3) The story focuses on the different personalities of the three friends - Martin is naive, Corey is a jokester who vlogs, and Conner is narcissistic and obsessed with social media.
The document discusses the cinematography techniques used in the Blair Witch Project that contributed to its success. It used an experimental "gonzo filmmaking" style where the actors were sent into the woods with cameras and had to improvise their reactions, leading to very raw and authentic footage. This helped audiences believe the events were real. Some key techniques included amateur footage to give a first-person view, diegetic sounds from the video camera to make it believable found footage, and lack of traditional screenplay/dialogue to make the acting feel real. This unconventional style was pioneering for the time and led many audiences to think the actors were truly in danger.
The document proposes a short found footage horror film to be written, produced, and directed in Sunderland. It will use an improvised filming technique to seem authentic like Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity. This subgenre is underused and will make the film unique. Producing the film locally will demonstrate Sunderland's filmmaking culture and inspire others. The proposed timeline includes pitching, writing, storyboarding, filming, and editing. The estimated budget is between £550-£600, covering wardrobe, props, paperwork, and production costs. The goal is to showcase local talent and bring more culture to Sunderland through independent film.

INT. COLLEGE-DAY
a group of students are sat in a classroom working on
computers
CONNER
we should do something this weekend,
something interesting
COREY
if its this weekend we can do
something more interesting like a
house party
MARTIN
i'd like to do a house party soon,
sounds good
CONNER
well if we're doing this you're
hosting it t your place
COREY
what? no! i'm not hosting it
CONNER
you were the one who suggested it
MARTIN
actually Conner it was you who brought
up doing 'something interesting'
CONNER
fine then, we'll do it over my place
since you are both willing to come up
with the idea but not have the
willingness to host the damn thing
MARTIN
what day works for everyone then
COREY
saturday would be best
CONNER
i'm the one hosting it, if anyone
should have a say over when we do this
it should be me, its my house we're
doing it at
2. 2.
Created using Celtx
MARTIN
so what day did you have in mind?
CONNER
Saturday works but the decision
should've been mine
COREY
its not really much of a house party
with just the three of us
MARTIN
we'll do something else then
CONNER
we can still do something similar, we
can play games and have some drinks or
something
COREY
that works for me
MARTIN
yeah, sounds good
class ends and the group gets up and leaves the classroom
CONNER
well lads i'll see yous tomorrow, make
sure you bring some drinks with you,
i'm not paying for everything myself,
its all our idea so i expect you to at
least bring money if you don't bring
drinks with you
EXT. STREET-EVENING
Corey and Martin are walking down the street to Conner's
house
MARTIN
do you think this will even be any
good, i mean what kind of house party
has three people
COREY
well it's not exactly a house party is
it, we're just sort pf chilling and
playing games. its something to do,
don't tell me that you could have
other plans, we both know that's a lie
3. 3.
Created using Celtx
MARTIN
i'm just doubting how good the night
is actually going to turn out
COREY
just enjoy the night, if you didn't
spend every moment complaining you'd
actually enjoy things
Corey and Martin reach Conner's house and go inside
after a couple of hours of drinking and playing games the
night begins to get slow
MARTIN
i told yous that a 'house party' with
three people would be boring as hell
COREY
if you find it so boring then you come
up with the idea, besides, didn't you
agree with me on the idea?
MARTIN
yeah. to a house party. three people
in a house is not a house party, is
it?
CONNER
both of you stop arguing, if you find
it boring how about we do something
more interesting
MARTIN
like what?
CONNER
you two may not know this but this
house is actually haunted, so i
thought we could use an Ouija board to
talk to some of the ghosts that live
in this house
COREY
none of us own an Ouija board, idiot
CONNER
you don't need to own one for it to
work. we can just make one ourselves
with paper or something. an Ouija
board is just a piece of wood with

letters and numbers
MARTIN
fine, might as well, this nights dead
anyways
after setting up the crudely made last minute put together
Ouija board, the lads sit around it and put their hands on
the improvised planchette and start asking questions but
nothing happens
MARTIN
this sucks
COREY
it does seem fake and a waste of time
CONNER
you're all just asking boring
questions, that's why
MARTIN
you come up with a question if you're
the master of this
CONNER
fine. was the ghost in this house a
murderer?
the planchette moves down to yes, answering Conner's question
COREY
stop moving it
CONNER
i'm not
COREY
yeah, right. this is fake and stupid,
even if it was real its stupid. even
if there was a murderous ghost in this
house, what's it gonna do, come back
and murder me? as if
MARTIN
i wouldn't say that, in case its a
possibility
COREY
no its not, Conner was moving the damn
thing to scare us, with this story of
5. 5.
Created using Celtx
some ridiculous killer ghost
lights suddenly go off revealing shadow of the killer before
the lights turn back on
MARTIN
did you guys see that? there was a
figure or something behind Corey
COREY
you're probably just imagining things,
you're always lying about something
CONNER
its what Martin typically does, we
should expect it at this point
Martin gets up and leaves the room, while Conner and Corey
talk to each other, he sees a figure in another room, he
walks over to the entrance to the room and doesn't see
anything, he turns around to see the killer, the killer
slices Martin's throat and he falls to the floor
COREY
Martin's been gone ages
CONNER
he's probably went home or something,
you know what he's like, insult him
and he takes it too personally
COREY
should we not call him or anything
CONNER
nah, just leave him for now, he won't
answer when he's in a mood anyways,
lets just play some games or something
for the rest of the night
COREY
i'm going to call him anyway
CONNER
fine, but he won't answer
Corey calls Martin's number, his phone rings from the other
room
COREY
his phone's ringing from another room,
6. 6.
Created using Celtx
he must still be here
CONNER
or he left his phone in the house, he
was in a hurry to leave
Corey walks towards the direction of where Martin's phone is
ringing, Corey sees Martin's phone next to a pool of blood on
the floor with no body in sight, Corey rushes back into the
Living room
COREY
Conner, i found Martin's phone next to
a pool of blood, i think he might be
hurt or even dead
CONNER
he's probably playing some stupid
prank on us or something, have a look
out the back, if there's no other room
he's in he'll be out there trying to
scare us
COREY
okay then, i'll be back in a few
minutes
Corey goes into the back garden looking for Martin, after a
couple of minutes before turning around to head inside when a
hand grabs Corey by the shoulder, Corey is forcefully spun
around where his eyes meet the killer's for a split second
before the killer impales Corey with the weapon, Corey tries
to fight off the killer and tries to crawl away before the
killer finishes him off by slitting his throat
Conner sits in the living room for Corey to come back, he
waits for a few minutes before realising he's not coming back
CONNER
Corey, Martin, stop hiding, this whole
thing is stupid
Conner looks around the house for a few minutes before
checking outside
CONNER
stop with the hiding, this prank is
childish
Conner looks around outside until he comes across Martin and
Corey's bodies, he pauses for a second, trying to process

what he's seen, he looks up and sees the killer staring down
at him, the killer swipes at Conner but misses before Conner
shoves the killer who trips over the bodies of Corey and
Martin dropping his weapon.
Conner picks up the killer's weapon and stabs him in the back
repeatedly as he tries to get up, Conner looks down at the
killer who is face down on the ground, motionless, Conner
drops the knife and runs inside, locking the doors
the killer gets up effortlessly as if he hadn't even been
attacked and tries to get into the house
Conner looks for a weapon to defend himself from the killer
as he hears the killer continuing to try to open the doors
the killer gets into the house, Conner tries to run but is
grabbed by the killer and thrown to the floor, the killer
tries to stab Conner in the chest but Conner resists, the
killer slowly pushes the knife into his chest before pulling
it out and slowly dragging the knife across his throat,
killing him.
the killer turns around and begins walking out of the room
before the lights go out, the lights turn on revealing the
killer is gone.
