Our trailer aims to represent typical British teenagers. It will feature a trio of 17-year-old friends - one boy and two girls - dressed casually in skinny jeans, t-shirts, and hoodies. The characters will use slang and swear words to seem authentic. Our masked killer will vary from the typical slasher film by using a pair of kitchen scissors instead of a knife or saw. The trailer targets the language, dress, and behavior of teenagers to appeal to its primary audience of British youths.

happenings.
The trio of 17 year olds will be dressed in
casual attire (skinny jeans, t-shirts and

We have chosen these costumes as we feel
that they represent the image of a
stereotypical teenager, and will create
verisimilitude in relation to the storyline (they
are clothes that any teenager would wear
camping, so the story immediately becomes

any slasher film, as it will be carrying a
weapon and wearing a ‘creepy’ mask.
However, we plan to make our killer slightly
different by simply altering the weapon he
will be carrying.
Usually, it would be a knife or even a saw,
but we will be incorporating a pair of kitchen
scissors as we feel this will add an
alternative element to an otherwise typical
slasher film.
