Besides guidelines, SECP has issued directive for asset management companies to verify social background of employees within 90 days. People can learn about honesty, truthfulness and responsibility. Though SECP is busy in reforming the corporate sector yet it has to meet score of demands of the general public.

1. Throughout the country, Securities and Exchange Commission of
Pakistan (SECP) has directed asset management companies
(AMCs) to verify the antecedents/credentials of persons seeking
jobs in AMCs.
Competent employees must have key traits of truthfulness and
integrity. It is mandatory for AMCs to verify the antecedents of
persons within 90 days of the date of employment from former
employers.
Companies should get approval of SECP before hiring Afghan or
Chinese nationals as their employees. Underage persons cannot
be hired. Only 5% companies give minimum wages and observe
decent working hours.
For human resource selection, SECP will issue general guidelines
and directives to over 65000+ registered companies shortly.
These initiatives would help curbing white collar crimes in
Pakistan.
