Khurshid Barlas, born in Karachi and now based in Islamabad, is a prominent businessman and founder of the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, with over four decades of experience in organizing industrial exhibitions across Pakistan and internationally. He has successfully coordinated numerous significant events, emphasizing Pakistan's trade potential globally, while also being actively involved in various business councils and chambers of commerce. Born in Karachi, Khurshid Barlas after graduation in commerce settled down in Islamabad. Besides
running Pak World Trade and Expo Centre in Islamabad for more than forty years, he is founder and
chairman of Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry (PAEI), President of UK Pakistan Business Council
(Pakistan Chapter), Chairman of standing committees of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry
and honorary member of AJK Board of Investment. He regularly plays badminton and golf in free time.
From a single marriage, he has one son and daughter.
