This document discusses the need for HIV/AIDS education for parents and adolescents in Kenya. It notes that many young teens are becoming sexually active and that a lack of open communication on sex issues is contributing to problems like early pregnancy and disease. The organization COVUC hopes to bring together 40 teens and 40 parents to have open discussions about sex, with the goals of helping teens delay sexual activity and reduce disease transmission. They believe establishing school clubs that regularly involve parents and teachers in sex education activities can continuously educate both groups.
