In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

1365: De ente in communi(On Universal Being) ,
De ente primo in communi(On Primary Being),
and De actibus animae ( On the Acts of the Soul).
In 1366-1368, he wrote a book called: Purgans
errores circa universalia in communi(Amending
errors about universals). He used many of his
books as back up as he preached against the the
Roman Catholic Church and it’s teachings.
6. His attacks On The Church
John Wycliffe was opposed in many ways to the teaching of
the church. The churches in England at that time, were
mostly Roman Catholic. Preachers would usually read the
Bible in Latin so the people had a hard time understanding
it. John was one of the first people in England to preach his
sermons in the English language. He made multiple attacks
on the orthodox doctrines, especially that of
transubstantiation. John Wycliffe's
attacks on such a firmly established doctrine
of the church left him almost completely
without followers. Many of his followers were
persecuted but he, himself, was not touched.
7. The Wycliffe bible
The Wycliffe Bible is a great landmark in the
history of the Bible and the English language.
The first and literal translation of the Latin
Vulgate Bible into the English language was
done mostly by Wycliffe's followers, notably
Nicholas Hereford. The better revision was
done in 1395 directed by John Purvey..
9. Summary
John Wycliffe showed love towards the English
people by preaching in a language that they
could understand. His teachings influenced
many people, such as: Jan Huss, Martin
Luther, and the Moravians. He showed many
people the true meaning of the Bible and
what it teaches.
