El Efecto Halo : the halo_effect_premium_publisher_study_jul2016Miguel Angel Urbina
Premium publishers delivered significantly higher brand lift (67% on average) than non-premium publishers from digital display and video ads. Premium publishers were over 3 times more effective at driving mid-funnel brand metrics like favorability and consideration. This enhanced effectiveness was partly due to higher viewability rates (50% vs 45%) and lower invalid traffic on premium publisher sites, but was mostly driven by the "halo effect" of the valuable contextual environment of premium publishers, which provided 51% higher advertising effectiveness.

Application fields of R in classical industrial analyticseoda GmbH
There is no doubt about it: A variety of methods which are easy to access can make R a valuable tool for plenty application scenarios in business, e.g. optimizing sales campaigns by scoring potential customers, predicting machine failures with patterns from sensor data or forecasting weather conditions in order to have some guidance for the trade and supply of energy. The knowledge in these kinds of scenarios has emerged from the young discipline of data science and is based on contemporary methods of data mining and predictive analytics.
At the same time there are many more application scenarios for R which are not directly connected to data science but are substantially impacted by classical analytics used in business and particularly in industry, for example in process controls, process validation or cyclic reports. Even though R has reached incredible popularity for data science methods, companies still struggle to make R accessible for their classical analytics.
The talk will highlight the differences of data science and classical analytics and reveal the underrated potential of R in business processes which are dominated by a particular software. Furthermore, the talk will give an outlook for R in the field of analytics.
Explain how biological factors may affect one Cognitive process.Michelle Silva
The hippocampus plays an important role in forming explicit memories, as damage to the hippocampus results in an inability to form new explicit memories. However, implicit memories can still be formed. The amygdala is involved in storing emotional memories, as these types of memories are remembered better and are difficult to forget in disorders like PTSD. The case of Clive Wearing showed damage specifically to his hippocampus, resulting in severe anterograde amnesia. However, his procedural and emotional memories remained intact, as evidenced by his ability to play piano and have strong emotional responses, showing memory is distributed across brain regions beyond just the hippocampus.
This document provides an overview of cataracts, including their anatomy, classification, pathophysiology, genetics, biochemical pathways, tests and treatments, prevalence, and references. It describes the key structures of the eye involved in cataracts such as the iris, pupil, sclera, cornea, and retina. It classifies cataracts based on location, age of onset, morphology, and maturity. The main pathophysiological mechanisms and risk factors are discussed. Genetic inheritance patterns and candidate genes are outlined. Biochemical pathways like glycolysis, the pentose phosphate shunt, and the polyol route are implicated in cataract formation. Tests, treatments, and prevalence statistics in Pakistan are summarized along with references
This study paper portrays a fresh approach for
a course and laboratory design to establish low cost prototypes
and other entrenched devices that accentuate virtual
programmable logic device (VPLD), object oriented java and
real time processing tactics. JAVA is used for software
development. The study encompasses the use of host and node
application. A high performance, low power AVR with high
endurance non-volatile memory segments and with an advance
RISC structure is used to construct prototypes. The paperwork
deals with the VPLD board which is capable to work as
corresponding digital logic analyzer, equation parser, standard
digital IC and design wave studio

• 800.000 d’anys ( homo antecessor )
• 300.000 d’anys aC ( homo heidelbergensis )
• 150.000 d’anys aC ( homo neandertal i primers enterraments )
• 120.000 d’anys aC (homo sapiens sapiens i va aparèixer l’art.
