PERSONAL PROFILE
I am an efficient Transport Manager with over thirty years experience in
the Road Haulage Industry, gained from various positions, including
running my own Haulage Company. I am conversant in various work
processing and spreadsheets, Transport Management Systems etc. I am
highly motivated and extremely versatile, quick to learn and adapt to
new situations easily and also accustomed to working under pressure.
CAREER HISTORY
2016 – Give Goodwind (Just went into Liquidation)
Was employed as Transport Manager. My responsibilities included
running a busy transport office, organising driver’s, organising vehicles,
cranes etc, dealing with vehicle maintenance, tacho’s etc and general
office duties involved in the day to day running of a transport office.

2. 2016 June – October Stuart Nicol Transport
Transport Co-Ordinator assisting in the daily running of their vehicles,
liasing with customers, sub-contractors and dealing with daily
paperwork involved in the running of the transport office.
2015 – June 2016 R Collett & Sons Limted – Grangemouth
Employed as Office Manager. My responsibilities included running busy
transport office, working with their own drivers from all depots, dealing
with sub-contractors and dealing with all paperwork, vehicle
maintenance, tacho’s etc and assuring that all customers get the best
possible service.

Liaising with customers, dealing with rates and daily paperwork that is
involved in running a transport office.

included assisting in the running of the vehicles. Liasing with customers
on rates and work. Dealing with all the sub-contracting side of the
