The company supplies a wide range of plumbers and contractors in the plumbing industry. The company prides itself on
excellent customer service. I manage a staff compliment of around 30 staff members and I am also responsible for managing
the fleet of vehicles, the vehicles for operational use is 15 between three different branches and then additional vehicles of all
the Reps and Management. This entails all fleet related issues from issuing of new fleet cards and licensing to the procurement
of all new vehicles as well as the sale of old vehicles. I am also responsible for the maintenance of the building from generators
to the alarm, warehouse supplies and office supplies.

• Manage receiving of goods – both bulk and hardware
• Presentation of goods to be dispatched
• Placement of goods to be kept in stock
• Planning and loading of trucks
• Monitoring stock counts
• Receiving both bulk and hardware goods
• The picking and packing of goods all the way through to despatch.

The company deals in the procurement and transport of goods into Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique as well as
the sale of goods within South Africa. I managed a staff compliment of over 30 employees to ensure that targets were met in
the required time frame.
I was responsible for the general house-keeping of the warehouse and placement of goods that come in. I was heavily involved
with the operations side of the company and the planning there of. I also did the planning of loads and assisted in the loading to
make sure loads were kept on track and met deadlines.
During my time I temporarily assisted for three months in managing the company’s fleet of vehicles which included:
• Ten trailers
• Eight horses all running cross border and
• Four local vehicles for collections and deliveries.
I was responsible for managing the customs team and all the drivers, maintenance of the vehicles including forklifts for the
warehouse operations.

Ambitions
I am extremely ambitious and want to grow my career in an organisation that can offer growth opportunities and a long term
future. My passion is within the road freight industry and it is where I want to build my career. I feel I have a lot to offer in this
field and would be able to bring a lot into an organisation with my background I have built within warehouse management.
Coming from a warehouse management background both with locally and cross border deliveries done I am familiar with how
