This document outlines a plan to improve maternal and child health outcomes in Ghana through strengthening various components of the health system. It involves: 1) Training frontline workers to expand maternal and neonatal service provision and increase capacity of community and district providers to reduce under-five mortality. 2) Coordinating community and clinic activities to standardize access to malaria prevention and treatment. 3) Easing information capture for community health workers and providing supportive feedback to strengthen data collection below the district level. 4) Developing an essential drug and equipment supply monitoring system.
