• 3 reps each of young(~20), 5 of mid (~40)
& old (>100 yrs)
• Four 50X50 m plots in each stand receiving
fertilizer treatments from May 2011:
- N (30 kg N/ha/yr as NH4NO3)
- P (10 kg P/ha/yr as NaH2PO4)
- N+P
- Control
• Ca (1150 kg Ca/ha/yr as CaSiO3) at 6 of the
13 stands
