 It’s strongly discouraged in Islam since
addiction, deterioration of health and
wealth and the smell in mouth is not
preferable for Muslim.
 Stained teeth, fingers, and hair
 Increased frequency of colds, particularly chest
colds and bronchitis
 Asthma,Neuralgia,Headaches,Insomnia,Arthritis
 Nervousness,Tension,High BP,Heart disease
 Cancer of the lip, tongue, pharynx, larynx, and
bladder and lung cancer
 Mental depression
 Inflammation of the sinus passages
 Decreased sexual activity etc
 Smoking is causing air pollution
 It is also causing serious damage to the
people around
 It’s a huge waste of your money through
which you’re buying poison
 4 million new born babies per year could
be saved if women were not smoking
 Every eight seconds, a human life is lost
to tobacco use somewhere in the world.
That translates to approximately 5
million deaths annually.
 Kids are still picking up smoking at the
alarming rate of 3,000 a day in the U.S.,
and 80,000 to 100,000 a day worldwide
 Did you know, upwards of 10 million
cigarettes are purchased a minute, 15
billion are sold each day, and 5 trillion
are produced and used on an annual
basis? Did you know that the filters alone
from 5 trillion cigarettes weighs 2 billion
pounds?
 There are ways to quit smoking
 Cant we start striving against this evil
addiction from now on?
 Tobacco offers us a life of slavery, a host
of chronic, debilitating illnesses and
ultimately death. And think about it: We
pay big bucks for those “benefits.”
