  • #14 Transportation System 1954 began with Bus Garage, and 14 Busses. Some opposition to rural school consolidation because rural dwellers did not want children on school busses. This depicts the school bus driven by Boyd Jones that was struck by the 1967 tornado. All the children were evacuated safely to the ditch, and only minor injuries were sustained.
