This 3D printed part was created using Peek polymer material. Peek is a thermoplastic that can be 3D printed and then undergoes a thermal annealing process. The annealing treatment helps relieve internal stresses and improve the part's mechanical properties.
EDM copper electrodes were cleaned, restoring them to like-new condition. The electrodes were cleaned using a process that removed embedded carbon and debris. After cleaning, the electrodes performed as well as new ones for electrical discharge machining applications.
