Vedic mathematics is a unique system for performing calculations mentally that was rediscovered from ancient Hindu scriptures called the Vedas. It uses 16 simple formulae or 'sutras' along with their corollaries. Some benefits of Vedic math include being able to solve problems 10-15 times faster, reducing memorization of multiplication tables, providing direct answers with minimal working, and improving concentration.
