The Qin dynasty ended in 206 BC when Liu Bang became the king of the Han dynasty, taking over control of the country. While it was short-lived, the Qin dynasty left important impacts on Chinese culture such as further unifying the regions of China. Prior to the Qin dynasty, China had been engaged in endless conflicts between regions vying for supremacy over the country following the Zhou dynasty.
